Workshop for competent authorities in the education and healthcare sectors
Following the successful Benelux workshop held in 2025, the Dutch Presidency of the Benelux Union is pleased to invite competent authorities from the Benelux countries, France and Germany to a follow-up Benelux+ workshop on the recognition of professional qualifications for regulated professions.
The event will bring together practitioners from the education and healthcare sectors to exchange experiences, address common implementation challenges and strengthen cooperation between competent authorities.

22 October (full day workshop – Secretariat General of the Benelux Union)
- European Commission update on the modernisation of Directive 2005/36/EC
- Digitalisation of recognition procedures
- Practical workshops on:
- Cooperation through IMI
- Temporary or occasional service provision
- Recognition deadlines
- Mismatches in regulated professions
