The agricultural sector is at a crossroads. Climate change, demographic pressures, geopolitical tensions and evolving EU frameworks are reshaping how we produce food, manage land and sustain rural livelihoods. Meeting these challenges requires more than national solutions — it calls for smart, regional cooperation.
Benelux cooperation offers a platform to address these shared challenges. By connecting policymakers, researchers, young and new farmers, NGOs and financial actors, we aim to explore synergies between national approaches and generate new momentum for joint action.
Under the Luxembourg Presidency of the Benelux Union, this seminar brings together key stakeholders to explore how regional cooperation can make a tangible difference in three key areas:
🌱 Fostering innovation and resilience
🌱 Improving access to land and finance
🌱 Supporting generational renewal
The programme will include expert presentations, case studies and interactive discussions to identify good practices and strengthen future collaboration.
