Benelux, Climate, Durability

How can climate awareness be integrated into schools, youth activities, or even public policies?
The Benelux has launched a brand-new climate toolbox aimed at teachers, educators, engaged youth, researchers, civil servants, and communication specialists. It offers concrete resources to approach climate education in an active and inspiring way.
This toolbox is the result of the Benelux Climate Education Seminar, held last March at the Biodiversum in Remerschen (Luxembourg). Dozens of experts shared their experiences and best practices. The outcome? A rich collection of ideas, methods, and sources of inspiration for anyone who wants to take action. You’ll find valuable advice inside.

Benelux: A source of inspiration for education on sustainable development
Since 1985, Benelux has been a source of inspiration in environmental and sustainable development education. This expertise was recently shared internationally during the event “Fostering Diversity for Democracy and the Planet”, held on August 29 in Cologne. Over a hundred participants from Benelux and Germany – including policymakers, teachers, and civil society representatives – gathered to discuss the role of diversity and democracy in the sustainable transition.
